Sizzling cold night running down my spine

I got down from the bus and realised it was very late at night, the bus came at the destination stop 5 hours late, its 2:00 am.The roads are lonely and the only partner on the streets were street lights. This is not my hometown, its very unknown place and it became haunted when it is stranger for you especially at nights.I called up my roomie saying I have reached here ans she gave me the road map to reach the place. But I have to walk to reach my place,no rickshaws available nor  anybody to accompany, this is  not Mumbai where even roads are not lonely!Everybody was asleep even the pets ,they love sleeping all the time !I started praying duas , took one bag on my shoulder and one in my hand,I started dragging the trolley to the lane .The dragging sound effect was giving me more shiver.
It was chilling night ,I walked & shivered to my way, covering myself with my colourful stole.I was walking from sides of the corner so nobody could see me.All the negative thoughts started coming in my mind and it became clustering cloud which made me realized the fear. And all of sudden I saw a shadow walking behind me,in the same pace. I trembled and walked fast. The shadow walked faster,my nerves were shouting me and cursing me .But what should I do.I did not looked back. But ahead street lights were off.More scary it became.I dragged my bag and walked like a fast tortoise. And what more to ask for... my stole was stuck in thorny bush.I thought it must be that  shadow,I bravely looked back the shadow was gone. I removed my stole and moved more faster. The breeze flashed my face relieved me for that second. Saw around nobody was there not even stray dogs .Even the night lamps in the buildings showed no light. I walked with the help of my mobile torch.Even the sound of my own steps made me scared.
Some steps more there I reached the gate of my building, heaved a sigh of relief but this was not enough for the day.Watchman with big mustaches on the gate was snoring .When I reached the building and quickly opened the doors of the Lift(elevators),I heard some noise,I turned I saw group of boys drunkard , partied and spoiled brats.A bunch of about 6,all looked like beggars who are drunk, drugged and begging!I quickly entered the lift and was about to close the lift, however one of them came running,as if he is thirsty and he saw sweet water .I moved back when all entered the lift!"Mam we stay on 8 floor cant take stairs" ,other said ,"cant even fly ha ha " their jokes sounded rather drunked then humorous .I did not spoke a word, and act as if my boyfriend had called me and started talking on the phone .Yes you are standing up ,I m in the lift coming sweety .One of them said "my mobile never worked in Lifts"there came 8 floor all of them got down.Mines was ninth floor ,but I was on seventh cloud when I reached my place safely

Stop Defining others by their Hijab

We are the world who judges people’s intellect by their clothes. Strange but true The why we say a person is very bad if he/she is naked and then on the other side we say it’s not good to wear hijab. These are two extreme sides of Clothes or should I say intellect. I have heard news like she did a nude photo shoot (is she selling her nudeness, whatever her idea of living life) while some say she is wearing hijab (she is considered to be forced and jailed).Yes, we consider both as bad.But tell me what if you want opt for one as most respectful person. Whom will you select? Or you want to opt for one as Most Lusty person Whom will you select?. People assume that wearing skimpy clothes means you are stylish while covering your body is considered to be bhenji(slang used in Mumbai).
Nope I never meant that you should start wearing hijab, I too wear stylish clothes but style never means revealing your skin! OR wearing hijab doesn’t mean a person is with Zero intellect and illed up or burdened or forced! These are just false considerations of assumptions .The practice of hijab among Muslim women is one based on religious doctrine, although the Qur'an does not mandate it.I think we should start judging(I hate the word although)knowing the person by how they think and act and not by their clothing. So here is the answer from AMAZING response by Yemeni Nobel Peace prize winner Tawakkul Karman when asked about her Hijab By Journalists and how it is not proportionate with her level of intellect and education, she replied:

“Man in The early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s The removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient TIMES"

Value of 50 Rupee that day

No said my voice said my eyes, when I did not want to go to school for simple reason my cousin was not going to school. It was cold morning and foggy outside. But inside my house it was hot,my mom,”Are you a copy cat girl?” you have to go to school ,no more fusses. She oiled my hair and made two tight plates with those weird looking black ribbons.Drink this milk and make it fast.I was as silent as my doll lying on my bed.Wear this socks and shoes fast, other wise you will be late.My sad eyes were  filled with tears, some where in my mind I had made up not to go to school today!Tears came out of pulpy eyes, cheeks were red, handkerchief hanging on my uniform became wet.Mumma said my inner and outer voice ,please !!!Mom stared at me as if I  am saying to bring moon from the sky and that also early in the morning. No more natak will be entertained ,quietly go to school ,I know there must be some test or some book checking today!
What a bad assumption, I thought..
I took my 2 kg bag, with water bottle hung around my neck and walked to school.Reading my daily dua while stepping out from home as always.Thinking ways to escape but no way,was too dumb for that.Dusky morning ,barking dogs and on the way lots of goats (no I did not stayed in some village)but on the way one uncle’s home where he had almost all the domestics pets .I walked some more ,everything on the earth was moist and muddy.Playing with footsteps I said “50”…then I saw it was really 50…50 Rupee note lying alone on the road!i saw south and north …nobody was around My eyes rounded like I really got the moon, that school days mere 5 rupee was fun so 50 rupee was party indeed !I was thanking mumma who pushed me to go to school

Are you a Stereotype?

A stereotype is a popular belief about specific types of individuals. The concepts of "stereotype" and "prejudice" are often confused with many other different meanings. Stereotypes are standardised and simplified conceptions of groups based on some prior assumptions, assumptions I repeat .The word stereotype even if it is unknown the meaning of the word is often known in our minds and it has become a habit to stereotype !
Stereotypes are defined as:

"In modern usage, a stereotype is a simplified mental picture of an individual or group of people who share certain characteristic (or stereotypical) qualities. The term is often used in a negative sense, and stereotypes are seen by many as undesirable beliefs which can be altered through education and/or familiarization."

OR

"1. A conventional, formulaic, and oversimplified conception, opinion, or image.
2. One that is regarded as embodying or conforming to a set image or type."

OR

"A trite expression or idea..."

OR

"A generalisation, usually exaggerated or oversimplified and often offensive, that is used to describe or distinguish a group."

Whatever, lets come to real life examples ..Check it out

1. Looks Stereotype-She looks boring she must be boring and dumb. While one who looks beautiful she is charming and interesting all the time, but do remember Beauty and brains(I am stereotyping again).while an innocent looking guy can be ass at mind and vice versa for handsome ones too.

2. Thinking Stereotype-She is so narrow minded her sister too must be same even the family.Very  orthodox person he is ,god tell him we are in 21st century.people assume for some reasons that being in this century is all about turning down the odd ones out, while the odd ones  are all the good things too.Yeah we consider smoking is stylish and no smoking is orthodox.

3. Gender stereotype-At times it’s still the same, all girls are fools and all boys are smart. Or Masculine gender is stronger.however this stereotype is decreased at some level.
4.Money Stereotype-Wanted it name it materialistic(but it would be very  vast subject in itself),You have lots of money you have the power. More money = High class, so on the hierarchy goes on.

5.Religion Stereotype-Again a vast topic,I hate this one guys as I m stereotyped many times here, Gujratis are canjoose (miserly), Bengalis are boring, Punjabis are loud and boisterous, Muslims are Terrorist(after 9/11),Maharashtrians(Village people) .These are common stereotypes in India

There are again many to pen down, I don’t know why people start judging before knowing the person. These are just very few of 1000s of stereotypes we see everyday around us. I am sure you also have heard many of them. It pisses me off when by judging someone’s character by outer appearance tells something about your character.
