Hina Rabbani Khar is the first female and the youngest person to ever head Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.Wow that was great that a women with the duppata over the head is such a high profile person, when she was first saw in media people saw her fashion's her pearl beads and designable handbags and glares ,and then the lady came into news every time when canteen TV was switched on.I thought lets Goggle what this lady is doing and it was great to know about her talent rather than her choices. She graduated mother of Two with a B.Sc. in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences in 1999 and received her M Sc (Hon) in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2001.It’s great to see miss rabbani sharing podium with big heads like miss Clinton,S.M Krishna(India foreign affairs minister) , Yang Jiechi, the Chinese foreign minister.
She very confidently represents her nation with all the fair and unfair statements of course .....the best thing she said about the memo controversy of bin laden was “You cannot change things overnight. The army has had a larger-than-life role to play in Pakistan's history. However, you do have a democratic set up." "And we would hope that... this is where it should and will stop", Mrs Khar added. Its lovely to see young achievers playing a level like this and representing their country .
So I would say rather than concentrating on her bags people look at her hilarious efforts answering in defend for her nation . Yet she offers hope. Pakistan has countless women like Khar – perhaps not in terms of lifestyle, but in how they choose to live their lives, dedicated to public service. Khar has been criticised for being too young and for having a degree in hospitality management. But we(India) is a young country with a young population (the median age is 21), so it is fitting that we have a young representative too and thus we dont believe in such sayings. While her father has no degree, Khar has two (the other in economics).
